[PilotMgr] IrDA-Sync on Linux?

Hi Piloteers!

Has anybody successfully synched his/her Pilot via IrDA?
I'm trying that, but don't know if the IrDA, the Pilot or
the pilot-manager doesn't work. At least I managed to crash
the pilot-manager, when I tried to sync on /dev/ircommnew0.
On /dev/ircomm0 it reports 
"Connected
 Hotsync cancelled on Pilot"
...without me ever switching on the PDA ;-)

Any help appreciated!
