[PilotMgr] attempt to modify read-only variable at PilotManager line 2663

Anyone see this?  PilotManager v1.07, perl5, 5.003 packages from moshpit.

I'm trying to help a local buddy get his Palm Vx with OS version 3.5
to SyncCM.  It's useless to him without that!

Any ideas?  Reply to include my e-mail address explicitly, please,
