[PilotMgr] Help with setting up PalmPilot

Hi,

I am trying to set up my Palm V to sync with my workstation.  I can't get
the hotsync operation to work. I keep on getting an error about the communication and setup. I have downloaded the PilotManager and associated
conduits. I have checked the connection to make sure my hotsync cradle is plugged in to the cpu.  Can't figure out what's going wrong!   I get to step five in the "Installig PilotManager" instructions, and then I can't get any further.

I have checked the serial port settings: correct
I have checked the FAQ's: nothing like my problem.
