I have been using Pilot Manager for years but I'm stumped by this problem I have
in performing a hotsync with my newly acquired Palm IIIxe.
When I try to perform a sych using PilotManager v1.107 I see the following.
PilotManager reports "connected"
The the "refreshing database list" window pops up. However, roughly half way
through this refresh, the window disappears and Pilot Manager reports...
"Error: Modification of a read-only value attempted at ./PilotManager line 2663"
I can still synch my Palm VII without any problems.
I have been told that the Palm IIIxe (OS 3.5) needs to be synched on a PC before
Pilot Manager will work. I have no problem syching the IIIxe on my PC, but I
still get the same error when I attempt to synch to my workstation.
Any ideas ????
Regards
Brass
