[PilotMgr] Problems with "Pilot overwrites Desktop"

Hi.

With both "Pilot overwrites Desktop" as well
as "Remove duplicates" chosen, I am still finding
that old, previously deleted appointements remain
on my desktop calendar (but at least they don't
get written back to the Pilot).

Also, it is in fact duplicating some appointments
and not removing them on resync.

I have tried both Fast delete on and off, and
neither option elicits a different result.

I have noticed, while watching my desktop calendar
while the sync is in progress (with fast delete
"off"), that all appointements do appear to be
deleted during the delete process, but then they're
all added back again when rebuilding.

This is frustrating.

How can I reliably get my Pilot to overwrite
my desktop so that the desktop is a faithful
reproduction of the Pilot?
