[PilotMgr] Can't get started ...

I'm having problems getting PilotManager to work.  There are no
problems with pilot-xfer; I'm able to use it to backup my pilot.

It seems to hang up while Retrieving User Information.  A dialog pops
up saying that this Pilot has been reset or has never been synced, but 
after clicking that dialog I get a message saying that "PilotManager
was previously synced with Michael Bain ... Do you wish to restore
these settings to this pilot or enter a new name?".

Attempting to use the Backup (v1.008) conduit doesn't show any
databases to back up.

Running PilotManager v1.107, Suse Linux 6.2
