Looking for some more help.
I had to do a hard reset on the pilot (was told to by the pilot support
guy when I read off the error code from one of the apps)
Anyway, I'm trying to restore the apps that came with it.
(it's a Palm VII, so it has some pretty cool web-clipping apps)
Nonetheless, I can't seem to get the app back on the machine.
I do the installer/configure, select from the backup directory,
select the apps that I want - it claims to have installed them, but
they're not showing up when I fire the pilot back up.
Strange thing is that in backup, they're all named *.pdb. When
I compare these files to the ones I could get right off the net,
they're the same (size-wise, anyway), except for the ones on the net
are named either *.pqa or *.prc.
When I try to install these ones I got from the net, the installer
doesn't even recognize there's a file there.
Can someone straighten me out?
Thanks in advance.
Paul
