PalmOS 3.3 weird default launcher???

So.. after resolving my wake-up problem, I've installed the 3.3 OS.

BTW: Resolving the problem was pretty simple. I called palm and they told me
that my palmiii was dead. I could send it in and for 100.00 dollars they
would fix it. Well, new ones can be had for not much more than that so I
decided to open it up. All I did was reseat the chip and boot it. If this is
all you get for 100.00 bucks.. that is pretty weak. I digress.

It now appears that 3.3 has some sort of default launcher application. My OS
is pretty much vanilla at this point, I have installed some apps, but no
launcher applications. The default launcher has no menu and I have been
unable to find a way to disable it.

Has anyone run into this. There is now and icon for Applications, which I
can open and it brings me back to the old style of listing my apps. I would
prefer to disable this "new" launcher and install Launcheriii, which I was
using before.

If anyone has any info on this I would greatly appreciate it.
