Hi,
..just a short note that I wrote a tool that will convert
records from SyncAB's internal data format (-> addr.db) to
the format used by isdnlog, the connection logger of isdn4linux,
Linux' ISDN stack.
Thus, isdnlog is able use the callers' names instead of their numbers
when logging calls and can hand them to any tool that it calls
(e.g. popup windows, mails, the vbox answering machine etc).
The tool is designed to be run from root's crontab (but can also
be called manually). It doesn't overwrite pre-existing records and
keeps (simple) track of its changes to isdnlog's callerid.conf file.
For Palm records with multiple numbers, multiple isdnlog records
are generated, each postfixed by the type of number (Home, Work etc).
I'll send the tool to anyone interested.
Kind regards,
--Andreas
