I'm looking into writing a PilotManager conduit for malsync
(AvantGo) and am in need of some info.
I think that if I modify malsync to only modify the databases
and not try to initiate or tear down the sync that I could
get it to play pretty with PilotManager as long as the
necessary socket I/O is redirected through the conduit.
I've gotten as far as connecting the socket from malsync
to the conduit and am ready to start redirecting I/O through
the conduit. I need to sysread, syswrite, and select
on the dlp socket but I'm not sure how to get a file handle
from $dlp.
What is the perl syntax needed to get the file handle of
the $dlp passed into conduitSync?
Is there any documentation for the perl interface of the
pilot-link tools?
