The easiest/safest way would be to get access to a PC or Mac. PalmOS
3.3 is a Flash ROM upgrade, and if anything goes wrong, you have a
nice paperweight. (I believe that there's a way to recover with
(again) a PC or Mac, but I've heard of people having to send their
unit back to Palm.
However, if you want to live dangerously, there's some discussion at
http://www.palmstation.com/view_article.py?article=1110&flat_mode=1 on
doing it with Linux... it's quite possible that the programs would
work with other Unices. (Not that I know that they work on Linux for
the upgrade at all.)
