StarOffice source is due to be made available under the Sun Community Source
Licenese.
Also Solaris 8 is due to ship with a (Java base) sync tool called sdtpdasync
which IIRC uses the 3COM APIs. I've just (today) migrated from PilotManger
to sdtpdasync and it seems okay it doesn't (yet) do everything that
PilotManager does do what I need: Calendar, Backup, Memos, IMAP Mail.
The only thing I don't like about sdtpdasync is that holds only the
current backup not a history like PilotManager.
sdtpdasync doesn't do SyncPlan, SyncTime, SyncFood etc
