Have you upgraded your perl recently? Ever since I upgraded to the latest
developer's release of perl, I get this error when attempting to use
PilotManager to sync either my memos, or to do a full install.
However, interestingly enough, if I use pilot-xfer directly, I have no
problem performing these tasks.
