Ongoing saga of Pilot vs human

Some of you may recall I reported some problems with SyncMemo and
memos genertaed by SoftTrack! . About 1/3 or more of the memos
generated by SoftTrack were getting sync'd with nonobvious names
(Memo ... instead of the name found on the first line of the memo).

I was going to do some debugging, but recent updates to perl in preparation
for perl 5.6 have broken SyncMemo (and Backup) and unfortunately my perl
skills are too small to figure out what is going wrong.

However, this morning, in a desperate attempt to regain access to some
of my memos, I went hunting for anything in pilot-link that would help
me out. I found the memos command, which gave me exactly what I wanted.

The interesting thing is that pilot-link's memos command had no problem
whatsoever determining the names of the SoftTrack memos. Whatever the
problem SyncMemos is having, it is because it is doing something different
with regards to the names to use for memos than pilot-link's memos command.

Just another tidbit to add to the archives relating to this problem.
Some day, after SyncMemo and Backup are fixed again so that they actually
work, I may take another crack at trying to figure out what SyncMemo is
doing wrong with respect to the memo names.
