Several conduits failing after Win98 Sync

Hi,

after installing the PalmDesktop 3.0 on a Windows98 machine and syncing my 
Palm III with it, some PilotManager conduits refuse to work. I can't think of 
anything else I did to my Palm III and/or Linux machine.
A soft reset does not help, nor does a hard reset.

What did I do wrong and how do I fix it?

This is version 1.107 of PilotManager with the accompanying conduits. This is 
the first time I encountered problems with PilotManager.
