Hi,
I had to reset my PalmIII some days ago with the result that all data has been
lost (for what reason - I don't know). No problem, I thought; I had backuped all
databases regularly, so restoring data should be no problem.
However, when I try to install these backups via the installer conduit I get a
"fatal exception" on my Pilot and a hanging PilotManager. This happens on my
Linux box as well as on my SUN workstation. The Pilot has to be reset again and
the PilotManager has to be killed. It seems to me that this problem always
happens when the installer tries to transfer a file that already exists on the
Pilot.
Is there anyone out there who can help me getting back my data on the Pilot?
I'm using PilotManager 1.107, the system version on the Pilot is called 3.0.
Thanks for help,
Matthias
