Duplicate appointments in cm

I'm having a problem where some of my repeating appointments are duplicated
on my dtcm based calendar after I have used SyncCM to update it from my Pilot.
These appointments are not duplicated on the Pilot, or in the Pilot desktop
application on my PowerBook.  I've set SyncCM (v1.102) to "Pilot overwrites
Desktop", so I know the duplicates are coming from the address DB on my Pilot.
I've installed and run "dbScan" from Pimlico software, but it didn't find 
any problems.

Is there any other way to remove these "ghost" duplicates from my Pilot
address book?  Four reminders to leave to catch my bus has become overkill,
even for me.
