05/14/99 9:18:05 Synchronization complete
In this case I exited pilotmgr and restarted it and another sync saw me
alright!
I wonder if the problem is somthing to do with automount, as my .pilotmgr
directory
is in /home. I don't recal having this problem when I used a local disk. I
once
had a problem where my calender became unavailable and my pilot entries were
deleted.
Hence I now order the conduits as 1) Sync Time, 2) Backup daily where backup
includes conduit databases.
May I just add that pilotmgr is really fantastic. I have tried 3com, Lotus Org
and Outlook in attempting to sync with the better halfs pilot, but it seems I
will have to install pilotmgr at home if I really want to do the job properly.
By properly I mean sync calenders, merge phone lists and keep most memos/todos
seperate. Well done, and thanks.
