SyncPlan and perl error

Thanks to a little assist, I managed to get the PM other than installer
to run, but now when it tries to run SyncPlan I get:

AKIVA $ ld.so.1: /home/jwb/ebin/perl: fatal: relocation error: file 
/home/jwb/PilotMgr/pilotmgr/lib/perl5/sun4-solaris/auto/MD5/MD5.so: symbol 
Perl_safemalloc: referenced symbol not found

Am I correct in thinking that pilotmgr is looking for a perl with sagemalloc
compiled in it an the version on my system isn't compiled with it, or is this
caused by something else??
