SyncToDo (Was: Sync CM)

Someone had mentioned that there was a problem with Syncing the ToDos into
CM.  I don't recall exactly, but I think it had something to do with not
being able to separate the appointments with the ToDos.

I have been playing around with SyncToDo 0.1 Alpha, and am trying to get
something working.  I am finding that the following items are broken with
it:

- If a multi-line note is attached to the item, the read from pilot works
the first time, but when you sync again, the text file read fails and
corrupts the pilot.
- Items are not picked up properly from the pilot until you make a change
to the item (and make it 'a dirty record').
- If you sync more than once, it will delete all ToDo records on the
desktop and on the pilot.  I can stop this if I manually delete the master
db file, but you shouldn't have to.

I am looking into completely rewriting the conduit to allow CSV and LDIF
(to import into Netscape Calendar), but may actually try to refresh my
Perl/Tk skills, and write a ToDo editing program.  It depends on how much
free time I have.
