After getting a hint from Bob Kopp (author of pilot-ldif.pl) and
reading through Netscape's Communicator 4.5 Release Notes I found
out, that Netscape's Address Book only reads an LDIF file with
8-bit data correctly if the filename extension is '.4ld'!
Strange, but that's the way it is...
