Work for Sun Remote User??

Login Script Enhancement

Palm Computing® connected organizers are capable of initiating dial-in
network connections*. The Palm Computing® platform provides a TCP/IP
stack and a simple script language for automating login procedures. The Login
Script Enhancement package provided here extends the simple script language
in two ways. First, a new script command was added to support
challenge-response token cards. Second, a plug-in interface was added to
allow conditionally branching logic to be used in login scripts. The goal of the
Login Script Enhancement is to complete Palm Computing's support for token
card authentication. For more details, read the information below.

Remote access and authentication procedures are the responsibility of network
administrators. We intend for the Login Script Enhancement package to be
downloaded, used and installed by network administrators on behalf of end
users. If you are an end user who would like to take advantage of the described
functionality, we suggest you inform your network administrator these files are
                              available for download.
What is the Login Script Enhancement? What will it
                              do for me?

A "Wait For Prompt" command has been added to the basic login script
command set available on Palm handhelds. In a script, this command is given an
argument value which is the specific text string it waits to recognize, received
from the access server. When the handheld receives this string, it passes
through the additional text characters which immediately follow so they can be
displayed to the end user. Through this command, it is now possible to use
challenge-response token cards, like Axent's OMNIGuard/Defender and Secure
Computing's SafeWord Gold and SafeWord Platinum, for secure remote access
with Palm handhelds. See the Administrator's Help file for additional details and
                              example scripts.
