you will need to manually change permissions on the serial port as root to:

yamaha:/export/home/% ls -l /devices/sbus@1f,0/zs@f,1100000:b
crw-rw-rw-   1 root     tty       29,  1 Feb 16 21:29 
/devices/sbus@1f,0/zs@f,1100000:b

normally they are set to rw for root only...

admintool will set the permissions back anytime it modifys the serial port.

yup, it did it to me too...
