I've been using pilot manager for a while making backups randomly, and
always figured I'd be able to restore from them if my pilot lost its
data. Well, the batteries died (I left it in the cradle over Xmas
vacation) and everything got erased. Now when I try to synch with
pilot manager I get:
02/18/99 1:38:47 Please press the Hotsync button on your Pilot cradle
02/18/99 1:38:47 Connected.
02/18/99 1:38:50 Synchronization cancelled on Pilot
in the pilot manager log window. It pops up a Conduit Status window
which disappears as soon as it's displayed. On the Pilot I get
nothing. I've tried pushing the hotsync button, not pushing it, and
random permutations in between. I've verified the serial port is
working by hooking up a mouse and using gpm successfully.
Is there some setting on the pilot or in pilot manager that I'm
missing? FWIW, I'm using Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 with Pilot Manager
v1.106.
