PilotManger on SGI/IRIX6.5.2m

I've been trying to get it working on my SGI/IRIX6.5.2m, and haven't
been successful - it keeps complaining about versions of this and that.
As far as I can tell, I have newer versions of everything thats
required, but it still complains.

I hacked it to not check the versions, and it comes up with :-

I have Pilot.so...

Clues anyone?

PS. BTW, I'm no expert on this sort of thing.
