Re: PilotManger dies with RedHat-5.2?

Ok, maybe I worded this incorrectly. It may not be a Perl problem, but by
reverting to the version of Perl that was distributed with RedHat 5.1, the problem
goes away. It is that simple.

I understand not wanting to 'downgrade' to get this to work. I was in the same
position. What you asked for was 'any ideas?', and that is what I gave. Now it
is up to you to decide where your priorities are.

I have asked for a solution to this problem, but was directed to ask the RedHat
folks. Since I did not purchase RedHat (I downloaded it), I have no support. The
only solution I have left (since I am also not a Perl expert), is to switch out
the rpms that break PilotManager.

In any case, I too would like a solution to this. So, if any Perl/PilotManager
gurus out there have some time, could you please look into it? I am willing to
help test and or contribute also.

Thank you.
