PilotManager 1.106 SyncCM broken

Well, for the nth time (where n is VERY big) I just lost a large number of
my appointments and totally hosed up my calendar manager.  I've tried
reinstalling PilotManager, rebuilding it fresh, using someone else's
copy, etc.

Nothing I do works.

Not only SyncCM fails - SyncMemo never marks a clean HotSync either.

I've removed the pilotmanager directories, and done everything I know to do.

I've reached the conclusion that a Palm Pilot is not usable with Unix or
Mac - which frankly means it's not usable to me at all.

Before I turn this back in and ask for a refund, isn't there anyone out
there who has got some kind of software that works...
