I'd really like to get SyncPlan working

I managed to get lesstif built and installed on my Linux 5.1 box. I got plan working and I also got netplan running. pland is running. I synched up once to 
set the control file. Then I added the following line to the end of the control
file:
stevenworr_0 steveo@syslang

Next step was to run SyncPlan again. This resulted in the following output in the PilotManager window.

10/12/98 18:25:41   Connected.
10/12/98 18:25:48   Synchronizing using the SyncPlan conduit
10/12/98 18:25:48   Loading pilot records:
10/12/98 18:25:48   Synchronizing pilot called 'stevenworr_0'
10/12/98 18:25:54   Done reading records
10/12/98 18:25:54   No plan databases are registered for the 'stevenworr_0' Pilot. Please
10/12/98 18:25:54   edit SyncPlan/control and add one or more databases.
10/12/98 18:25:55   Synchronization complete

Can someone please advise me on what I need to do to get this working?
