CDE behavior and PilotManager

I don't know if anybody else using CDE has seen this behavior or if anything
can be done about it, but it's driving me crazy.

I use CDE v1.2 on a Solaris v2.6 system. I run PilotManager in quadrant 1.
After I start a sync, the status window pops up. I then move into another
quadrant to work on something else. When the status window is updated, the
window manager (dtwm) pops up the PilotManager main and status windows into
my new quadrant so that they are now listed for both the original and this
new quadrant. Basically, every time the status window is updated, the
PilotManager windows appear in whatever quadrant I happen to be in. I then
have to reset the quadrant information to tell it to only appear in the
original quadrant. I never had this problem in OpenWindows (using olvwm).

Does anybody know how to tell dtwm NOT to bring PilotManager into a new
quadrant when a subwindow updates?

Thanks for any help.
