alternate calendars

This is more of a summary than a question, but just in case...

I'm running Solaris 2.5.1 on a Ulta 1 workstation here at my desk.
Upgrade to 2.6 is not in the forseeable future, and our security
worryworts won't let me run rpc.cmsd, so CM is useless to me.

I've been looking into alternate calendar managers that work
with PilotManager, yet still allow me to generate email alerts
from my appointments.  The only one I've found that meets both
criteria is Plan.  I'm not crazy about the interface, but it
will have to do.

If there is another calendar I've missed that would work,
please let me know.

I'm also building the latest PilotManager as I was on a much older
version.  Boy, it's gotten a lot more complicated...
