Hello,
I just bought a Pilot III, and am in the process of installing
PilotManager. From the guide, it says:
You can skip downloading the Tk package if you already have it
installed in your perl installation (like Sun Microsystems'
SoftDist version of Perl).
and then further down:
If you're not sure if your perl has 5.003 compatibility mode do the
following:
% perl -V:bincompat3
I tried both of these with no luck:
% /usr/dist/exe/perl -V:bincompat3
Unrecognized switch: -V:bincompat3.
% /usr/dist/exe/perl5 -V:bincompat3
bincompat3='UNKNOWN';
What am I doing wrong? How can I tell which package to download?
Thanks,
Erik
