Problem? Can't restore Palm files, Help!

Problem: I installed HackMaster and it crashed my Palm Professional running
         v2.04 OS. I completed a Hard Reset, then tried to restore all files
         and programs. I am sync-ing with my Win95 PC. 
         
         Most programs restored correctly with the following exceptions:
         
         - DateBook data only restored reoccuring appointments.
         - AddressBook data only restored default PalmPilot Phone numbers (2x).
         - ToDo List data only restored default "Send PalmPilot Registration..."
         
         Note: MemoList and Expenses restored completely..
         
         I looked at my PalmPilot user folder on my PC and I see the correct
         data in the *.dat files associated with each application. The Desktop
         calender shows only the same appointments as the Palm, most are missing. 
         
         I tried setting the Sync so "Desktop overwrites Palm". Nothing..
         
         Help?
