The "Manifest" message is from the Backup conduit and has
nothing to do with your duplicated Memos. Alan can address
the Memos potential bug.
The Backup conduit creates a manifest file of all the databases
that it has backed up. When it cleans up old archives, it is
designed to only delete files that it has created itself. The
strategy is:
1. Delete all files listed in the manifest
2. Delete the manifest
3. Delete the archive directory
If, at step 3, the directory is not empty that means that (barring
a bug) you have tinkered with the archive and created a new file
in the archive directory. The backup conduit will NOT mess with
the new file because it doesn't want to blow away anything that you
have done. I'd check out the archive in question and see what's
up. Check out other archive's manifest files to understand the
system better.
