It also seems to work with Tk Perl 402.004 which lists in its
README.Solaris:
I have implemented a work-round to the 'locale' problem with
but it is a little messy, See the Preload() line near top of Tk.pm - if it
causes more problems than it solves remove that line. Without that line behaviour
will be as perl Tk-b9 which is set out below.
The workround may _cause_ problems if you are using another X11 not openwin.
However, the work around is flawed in that it caused the same library to be
loaded twice. After removing the library, it still worked.
And since the core dump is somewhere deep down Tk, I think it's
probably Tk related and just upgrading Tk to a newer version is all
that is needed.
