NEW PILOT PORTS AVAILABLE: Pilot-Emacs with mini-e-lisp and more!

Gang,

Some developer friends of mine have been hard at work on some pilot stuff, with 
almost no one knowing what they have been up to.  The results are now being made 
available to the public next week, but I am able to give you all at Sun a 
special preview on some serious pilot goodies!  See the website referenced below

PILOT-EMACS with PILOT MINI-E-LISP!

At last full functionality of EMACS and XEMACS is available for the Pilot!
User settings allow the pilot to load only the lisp functions and modules that 
are needed, but a new method of lisp module compression allows for most of the 
commonly used functions to be loaded!  Modules are interchangable with other 
versions of EMACS.  The most commonly used fuctions have special pilot 
short-cuts.

PILOT-RENDER with PILOT PHOTOSHOP PLUG-IN SUPPORT!

A serious step above the drawing / graphics programs currently available for the 
Pilot, this package allows for multi-layer 4 bit grayscale graphics, using some 
of the better Adobe Photoshop Plug-ins.  You can now create crisp multilayer 
graphics, and use powerful plug-ins, such as Kai's power tools, and 3D object 
render.  There is also a conduit to allow syncing with standard photoshop for 
windows.

Both of these programs have a suprisingly small footprint on pilot memory!
