status of remote access with challenge/password (SWAN)

I've seen in the log of the list that this problem has already been
discussed for the specific case of SWAN, without any real solution.

I've seen in the network hotsync documentation that they have added
a step to the scripting to handle secureid, it seems to be specific to
remote hotsync.

Does anybody tried to write a specific small dialer calling the ppp stack ?

Does anybody has solved the challenge / response problem ?
