When I first returned to Sun I was able to easily sync my PalmPilot to
my Solaris 2.5.x workstation. Ever since I've upgraded to Solaris 2.6
I've had a series of problems with SyncCM. Now I don't know that these
events are related...I don't know how to determine that since I don't have
easy access to a 2.5 machine that I can risk screwing around with.
I finally moved my calendar off the server to my own machine so I can
screw around with it. GREAT! And I'm now able to get SyncCM to overwrite
my desktop. Well sort of...It seems to incorrectly put multiple copies
of some appointments..of course this leads to a problem if I try to do
a Full merge between the two.
I've played around with things within OpenWindows and CDE. This seems to
make no difference. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm really frustrated
that this works so poorly! It all used to work just fine.
Thanks,
Michael
