another newbie question

I downloaded the tip calculater ( Hey, look at my new tip calculater! :-)
and the food db from moshpit, but can't see how to get these into the
pilot.

SyncFood is on the properties list in PilotManager, but it gets the following
error when running

SyncFood did not complete cleanly.
Error Can't call method "Pack" on unblessed referance at /home/gmoore/pilotmgr/lib/perl5/PilotSync.pm line 632


Any pointers on how to load new apps??  Any hints/pointers on the food db
problem??
