HELP!!!!!!! Had to do a Hard Reset......

Can someone please help me? I had to do a hard reset but I first backed up
my Palm Pilot. Now when I try to restore my Palm Pilot from my desktop, I am
unable to do so. I am using the Backup conduit to restore my Pilot, is this
incorrect?
