Thanks to the several folks who replied with suggestions.
I think I've discovered that both serial ports on my sparc 5 are
sick. I successfully ran the pilotlink pilot-xfer program on
two other sparcstations on the first try. However, after resetting
tty settings on my system (to match other systems) using admintool,
eeprom and several reboots I am still unable to get anything but
"Weird packet" from my own system. Sadly, this is my only
Solaris 2.6 system so I'm sorta hosed on being able to use
SyncCM because of CDE problems.
Does anybody know of any 2.6 tty bugs that might be causing
me this grief? I just can't believe that both of my serial ports
are broken since they've never been plugged into anything before.
