Fellow Linux Pilot Strivers,
As an update, I solved my Tk version complaint from pilotmgr's
Setup script.
I am running Perl 5.00403, and have made a symbolic link
/usr/lib/perl5/i386-linux/5.00401 that points to 5.00403.
I also obtained Tk402.003 from a CPAN site, and built and
installed that (after deleting Tk400.202). I found out
that this is what was needed after my perl guru hacked at
the setup software to induce a specific error message.
I am concerned that 402.003 is advertised as beta, but the
interactive tests during the build seemed good. We'll see.
Now I am up against the complaint re PDA::Pilot. I have
installed pilot-link.0.8.7, and README.porting says 0.8.4
or later is OK. But it uses 0.8.9, that's my next move.
