I too have experienced 'hard resets', and I've had my unit just
after the new hardware was released (with backlighting).
Doesn't turn into a big problem, since I'm being faithful to
sync and backups it never really is a problem (wasn't always the
case, but I only let it happen ONE time).
I have my own pattern, the hard resets tend to come after I've
let the battery drain a little too low, when I finally change them
the Pilot is reset.
I'll eventually carry more batteries, but NEVER give up the Pilot!!!!
Joe
PS: I also sync it with my home pc, just using the Pilot Desktop (was
using Organizer, but gave up quickly) and with my Sparc.
PSS: Thomas @platibus had some Great explanations 8^)
