Hi Erwin,

You can use the installer conduit to restore your files onto the pilot.

>From the gui use the installer configure option and just go to the 
backupdirectory and add your files to restore and do a hotsync.

If you want to use pilot-xfer:

pilot-xfer.sun4-solaris /dev/ttyX -r <backupdirectory>
