GUI address tool

I've been thinking about the lack of direct address book support
(under UNIX) for the pilot address manager and I've just about decided
to write Yet Another PIM... one that can read and write .prc files
directly.

I've actually got several different ways I could go with this... I
could write a converter (already have, actually, just need to redo it
since it got eaten in my last crash) to convert from .prc format, or I
could go all the way and write an actual PIM that reads and writes
.prc format files directly.

I'd rather do the second one, just because it'd be more fun. However,
if there's not a market (free... just gotta have users, though...) for
it it'd really just be an exercise in programming to keep my brain
fit.

I hesitate to write yet another PIM since there are so many good ones
already, but hey... it's a grand old tradition to reinvent the wheel.
My question is, would anyone out there in pilot land be interested in
it and use it (provided it was useable and any good, of course)???
