Bruce,
this is a well known situation, but unfortunately without any fix... I reported
the same problem a couple of weeks ago and basically got two types of responses:
- "I experience the same problem"
- "Everything regarding repeated appointments is working fine on my system".
But nobody was able to provide an answer why this is happening. As I see from
your email address, you'r not a Sun employee, and therefore do not have access
to any Sun-only versions of the CDE/libcsa.
Could everybody who sees the same problem please report their system setup with
version numbers to me, I will then summarize my findings to the list. Maybe
we can find a part of the system that causes the problem.
I'm using Perl version 5.004_01:
vsun01 kremer@src% perl -v
This is perl, version 5.004_01
The libcsa version I'm using is:
vsun01 kremer@kremer% /usr/ccs/bin/mcs -p /usr/dt/lib/libcsa.so
/usr/dt/lib/libcsa.so:
"CDEVersion1.0.2":sparc:12Apr96-10:37:44
Because the PalmPilot is not involved during this step (the same
happens with appointments created on the Sun system), the version
of PalmOS does not matter (just for the record: I'm using 2.0.4/German).
I'm using the date ordering DD|MM|YY with the "." as the date
separator.
What are your settings?
