I see it every time I've installed something with the Install conduit.
That seems to reset SyncMemo's idea of "I know what's going on".  The
little looking that Bharat and I did at it convinced me that 
1) I don't understand the states the Pilot can be in wrt "last sync time",
and 2) it may be unavoidable.

Anyone having this problem without running Installer let me know.
