I am doing all the things you indicate with Palm Professional 2.0 with
none of the adverse affects you describe. I use no time repeating appointments
as well as repeat forever appointments (both time and no time) and a variety of
other combinations and have not had any problems. Am syncing to CDE calendar,
win3.1 Pilot desktop, and win95 pilot desktop and all the appts seem to be
synced between all 4 machines very nicely. (Yes, I have too many computers!).
I guess your message could be interpreted as meaning an open ended appt
one with a start time but no end time? That option is not supported with
2.0 either. You can have no time entries, but if you enter a start, must
enter an end, whether repeating or not.

I seem to be getting this problem for repeating appointments that
do not have a time or an end-time. Appointments without an end time
does not seem to be supported on system 1.06 on Pilot (is it supported
under 2.0?) so this is to be expected. However, appointments with
no time is the more interesting case:
- You can setup appointments with no start or end time on the pilot
- These will be correctly synced to CDE calendar the first time you sync
- However, on subsequent syncs, you will see error messages like the one
mentioned below.
My question is, are people using the PalmPilot with System 2.0 seeing
similar behavior?
