Serial port questions

Hi,

I just downloaded and extracted the latest version of Pilot Manager, 
and I'm very excited to start using it on my Sparc Solaris system.

However, I haven't been able to get it to work yet.

I'm not that experienced in Solaris administration, so I'm 
sure I have some system configuration problems.  Can anyone give me 
some advice on how to set up my serial ports so PilotManager will 
work?  Any troubleshooting instructions in general on getting it 
working?
