I disagree.  As a pilotmgr user I like to see what problems other
users are having.  And if I'm having the same problem (but haven't
gotten around to telling you about it yet) seeing your reply means
that I don't have to bug you about it (or worse yet, just live with
it).

Speaking of the serial port.  Would it be possible to change pilotmgr
to only open the serial port when the hot sync button (on pilotmgr, not
the pilot) is pressed and to close it when it's done.

That way I can leave pilotmgr up even if I want to use some other
pilot tools.  I still use the pilot-link tools quite a bit, and it's a
pain to have to exit and restart pilotmgr every time I want to do so.
