Re: Blown away calendars (Fwd)

Bharat,

I'm also in great appreciation of the Pilot software.

Problem i've seen is the duplication removal not working. Software is solaris
2.5.1 with OpenWin. Calendar is on a file/cm server, my host is
rk1340cc.central.

My calendar kel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and I got a duplicate entry when I did a sync
(without duplicate removal turned on) I then turned on dup removal, did
another sync, and got a second lot of appointments loaded. I killed SyncCM,
restarted it, and did one more sync to get a 3rd lot of appointments.

Any ideas ?

Kel

Bharat,

I've had my calendar manager lose all appointments after a sync
on two occasions. In both cases I immediately shut down CM,
logged out, logged back in, and found my appointements were all
back where they belonged.

In both cases I had new appointments, both in CM and on my Pilot.
It appeared as if the sync had totally failed, as neither calendar
had any of the new appointments in it.

After logging back in I immediately performed a sync and all was
well again.

Oh, I use the CDE CM client: /usr/dt/bin/dtcm.

By the way, SynCM is the most useful hunk of new, non-system, software
I've found for a Solaris box in years. Thanks.
